Parts that connect a barrel and a flight of darts. There are many kinds of materials and lengths for shaft but generally a longer shaft tends to fly steadily and a shorter shaft tends to fly sharply. Also there is a spin type of shaft that a flight can spin when other darts come to the same spot to avoid hitting off the dartboard.
