An ultra-lightweight model made possible with stainless steelThis stainless steel dart from DMC, a pioneering long-established Japanese darts brand frequently featured in the media, is remarkably lightweight compared to high-density tungsten barrels.
The Shrike is developed based on the popular unite9 from DMC's earlier lineup, retuned into a 2BA model while keeping the well-received specifications and shape largely unchanged.
The rear waist section and micro-cut grip the fingers firmly, transferring power directly into the throw, while the front cutless section is designed without catching, concentrating the grip feel toward the rear -- since the grip position can be felt intuitively, it's a great choice for players who otherwise find themselves checking their grip position every throw.
-- Stabilizes release impact: because SUS barrels are lightweight, they can be harder to throw consistently; mastering a stable release with this barrel can translate into remarkable improvement when later switching to a tungsten barrel.
-- Improves follow-through arm swing: lightweight SUS barrels tend to drop low, so every part of the throw must be precise and relaxed -- this naturally helps develop an efficient, wasted-motion-free form.
-- Ideal for players recovering from arm or wrist strain: an incorrect form can place extra strain on the arm. This barrel is set to 8.5g to help reduce the load on each part of the body.
